Yes, GoTo Webinar will send a certificate for attendance at the conclusion of a ‘Live’ webinar only.

Can I earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points?2020-08-27T20:51:24+10:00

CPD points may be earned by the electrical, plumbing, gas fitting and building industry by attending a WorkSafe Month 2020 event. A maximum of 2 points can be earned (1 point per hour to a maximum of 2 points in total).

Is there a charge to attend a webinar or training?2020-08-26T16:51:06+10:00

Webinar sessions are free to attend.

Most training courses are free.  There is a minimal charge to participate in the Mental Health First Aid online course.  For more information visit www.worksafetasmonth.com.au/training

Yes, one individual can register for a group.

Is there a maximum number of people from my workplace that can attend a webinar or training?2020-08-26T16:50:09+10:00

There is no attendance limit for webinars. However only one email per webinar session can be used.

For online training, there is a limit of two participants per organisation applies to each course. For more information about training courses offered visit www.worksafetasmonth.com.au/training

There will be a phone-in alternative for less tech-savvy users who have registered for a webinar. When you register you will receive a phone number in the confirmation email.

Once you’ve registered, you will receive a Confirmation email that includes specific join information. When the webinar is about to begin, you can use that information to get into session. For more information about how to join visit https://support.goto.com/webinar/how-to-join-attendees.

Online event times are listed in Eastern Standard Time or Eastern Daylight Time.

The webinar or training page is blocked on my computer. What do I do?2020-08-27T12:06:58+10:00

If the webinar page is blocked on your computer, you will need to talk to your IT personnel/department to have them give you access to the webinar.
WorkSafe Tasmania cannot assist you with accessing the webinar or training if your computer is blocking the website.

Will I be able to access online presentations after WorkSafe Month?2020-08-27T12:06:16+10:00

Selected WorkSafe Month webinars will be available from the WorkSafe site after WorkSafe Month.

What are the system requirements to join an online event?2020-08-27T12:07:28+10:00

All you need is a computer with an inbuilt speaker system and access to the internet. For webinar technical support call GoToWebinar on 1800 768 027 or visit https://support.goto.com/webinar. If you have technical questions about accessing online training please call OzHelp Tasmania on 1300 003 313. WorkSafe Tasmania cannot assist you with any technical problems you may experience.
