Dr Aimee Gayed
Black Dog Institute

Dr Aimee Gayed is a registered psychologist with experience working in research, professional education and clinical settings across mental health and criminological domains. In 2015, she joined the Workplace Mental Health Research Team at the University of New South Wales, Black Dog Institute, to commence a PhD developing and evaluating an online mental health training program for managers called HeadCoach, to help them better understand and better support the mental health needs of the staff they supervise. Aimee completed her PhD in early 2019 and is continuing to investigate the ways we can create more mentally healthy workplaces through her role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Black Dog Institute where she is currently leading the adaptation and extension of the HeadCoach online manager training program across various high risk industries.
